We stand in grave danger in our nation today. We’ve allowed ourselves to become distracted by those who say “peace peace” when there is no peace! As a consequence, the message of the church has become garbled and confused and associated with that of many different things other than those with which God intended.
We are here to call the unredeemed to submit themselves to Christ by means of the Cross. What God does in there lives after that occurs is varied and profound, but before that occurs is singular and specific – recognize your sin, repent and turn to the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross as the solution and be saved. That is message we are to take to society around us and around the world.
We have and are failing to do so. We God’s people historically fail to do as He desires and commands them to do, He He calls them to repentance and gives them another chance. Should they fail then, He perhaps does it again. But eventually, He gives them over to their sin and abandons them, and seeks another people to be His. This is what is happening to America today. We see it all around us is unprecedented fashion.

Thankfully, there is always a remnant, a group that God preserves to preach the truth in the midst of judgment. It ain’t pleasant – but from a Biblical point of view it is a great privilege!
